my horrible secret

I killed my neighbors' cat. On purpose. It kept coming into my yard, shitting in our planter. One morning I saw it, and it was like a latent predatory fury lashed out into my brain. I chased down the cat, caught it, and mauled it, shaking it back and forth savagely like a terrier does to a rat. When it layed dead at my feet, I squashed its ribcage and threw it in a tree as a treat for the crows.
