I have no respect for laws or moral scruples of any kind. The only reason I have not commited any felonies is because the punishment for each crime currently weights more on the complicated cost/benefit scale I use to determine my actions. And that makes me sad.

Sounds like you’re a sociopath; it often comes with an inability to feel certain emotions. Conscience is only one of those emotions, even though it’s what sociopaths are most famous for lacking. I would see a therapist if I were you.
